Go Green Updos

Using a few flowers or just any 'green' accessories you can find around you is a great way to do your part and be GREEN!

Adding a small bit of detail will make your hair and face look brighter, fresher and you'll always be unique. Isn’t that every girl’s dream?  Being unique and having a style that is one of a kind. 

Here we will give you a couple ideas of how easy and fast it can be to do everyday updos at your home, in just a few minutes.

Use any flower you can find around you and just put your hair up, secure it with a couple hairpins and put the flower on the same side to cover them.



Doesn't that look amazing! You can look like this in just 5 minutes and you can wear it for any occasion, from a night out to a evening party. Your friends will surely be jealous of you and your updo.

Fist off, put your head down. Get all of your hair together and make a ponytail out of it. Instead of wrapping it the with the last part left from the elastic you just use it to make a bow. Secure the loose ends with the hairpins and put the flower on the top. There you are! It took you just 5 minutes, right? You can do the same thing with a hairband and wear it like this just about everywhere, everyday!



What could be simpler than this:

First off brush your hair, just like you do everyday. Now separate your hair leaving more hair on one of the sides and put up in a ponytail. After you're done doing this and have the hair up over your head put your head down and start tousling your hair. The most efective way will be if you start with taking a little parts of it and tousle it slowly from the ends to the bottom trying to stay as close as possible to the root. Now put your head up! Put the flower you have choosen for this updo and voala. You are done!

This one might take a little bit longer, most likely about ten minutes. To start, put mousse all over your hair. Separate the bangs and put them on one of the sides of your head. But be sure to choose carefully as the side you choose to turn the bangs on will be the side where you'll put the flower.

Once you have your bangs nice and neat, secure them with a couple hairpins. Next, brush all of your remaining hair back and put it in a po\nytail in the midway up your head. Secure it tightly with an elastic .Once you are done doing this simply put your fingers under the elastic and gently turn all of the hair making it into a bun. Secure it with as many hairpins as needed to hold it. Try to put them inside the bun so they won't be noticable.

To complete the look, place the flower you already have chosen over your ear to cover the hairpins that are holding the bangs.

Being green is not just about using green products at your house for cleaning, storage or recycling. Being green means using organic products whenever possible, even for hairstyles.
